Short answers, written by the people who built it.
Every guide here is one screen long and tells you which button to press. If you would rather ask, Linky is in the corner of this page and answers from these same articles.
My website
6Request a designed site from the Custom design panel on My website, describing the look you want and attaching inspiration.
Change your site addressYour public link is set under Site address on the My website screen, and the app tells you if the name is already taken.
Edit what your website saysContent on your public site is edited in sections under My website, covering your headline, bio, page blocks, hero images, and an announcement banner.
Make your site live, and publish changesEdits to your website are saved as a draft until you tap Publish, and a brand new site stays hidden until you make it live.
Share your booking linkShare your booking link is a quick action on Home, and it warns you when there is no link yet to share.
Use your own domainPoint a domain you already own at your Turbo Link site by saving it under My website, then adding two DNS records at your registrar.
Photo Galleries
6New gallery on the Photo galleries screen creates a delivery gallery for one client, which you then fill from your photo library.
Delete a galleryDelete gallery is in the gallery's Settings and asks first, and removing a single photo is a separate action inside the gallery.
Deliver a gallery to your clientDelivering makes the gallery reachable and can email the client, and until you do the share link does not let anyone in.
Price a galleryGallery pricing sets a per-photo price, a whole-gallery price, and reusable digital packages shared across every gallery.
Put a PIN on a galleryGenerate guest PIN adds a code on top of the gallery link, and without one the link alone is the only thing protecting the photos.
Turn on watermarks and proofingGallery settings can burn your logo into previews, let clients favorite and comment, and ask them to pick a set number of photos.
Documents
5Open a template and use + Add field to create blanks you fill per client, each with a tag, a label, and optional preset choices.
Build a document templateTemplates live under Documents and are built once with New template, then reused for each client with Use template.
Fill out a document for a clientUse template on a document turns it into a filled copy for one client or event, which is the version you then send for signature.
Send a document for signatureA filled document shows Send for signature on the Documents list while it is still a draft, and the confirm panel names exactly who gets emailed.
Use a PDF you already haveYou can attach an existing PDF contract as a document instead of rebuilding it, using the PDF option on the Documents screen.
Events
5Team members are assigned on the event and each carries a cut set on their line in the schedule, with a warning if someone is paid but not on the roster.
Attach a gallery to an eventAn event can create its own gallery or attach an existing unlinked one from the Gallery section.
Create an eventEvents cover multi-part bookings with a date, venue, and party size, and can be created as confirmed or as a pencilled-in hold.
Pencil in a date without confirming itAn event can be saved as a hold with a date it lapses, which keeps the day visible without treating it as booked.
Track what an event bills and what you keepThe Money section on an event shows services scheduled, invoiced, collected, team cuts, and your margin, and only you see it.
My Schedule
5Use Block off time on My Schedule to make part of your day unbookable without creating a fake appointment.
Book an appointmentCreate an appointment from + New on Today or New appointment on Home, picking a service from your menu or entering a custom one.
Cancel an appointment, or mark a no-showCancel and No-show are separate actions on the appointment, and both ask before they commit because both are visible to the client record.
Record a deposit on an appointmentRecord deposit on the appointment logs money taken outside the app, with a note field for how it was actually paid.
Reschedule an appointmentOpen the appointment, tap Reschedule, pick the new time, and Save new time, and on a repeating booking only that one visit moves.
Clients

Do contractors need a website?A website makes a contractor look established and gives homeowners a place to request an estimate, and it matters most when booking and follow-up are wired in.
Do I need a separate consent form for minors?Rules on tattooing minors vary by state and some states prohibit it outright, so check your state board before relying on any consent form.
Do I need a separate website and gallery platform? Not if one system handles both. One login, one bill, and one place clients look for you.
Do I need my own website if I already have a booking app?A booking app alone leaves you renting your client relationship on someone else's platform, so most stylists still want a website they own to point people at.

How do I handle after-hours emergency requests? An after-hours emergency intake form or line lets homeowners reach you outside business hours without you having to answer the phone yourself at 11pm.
How do I handle walk-ins and appointments at the same time?A visible queue with wait times lets booked clients keep their slot while walk-ins see exactly how long they will wait.
How do I reduce no-shows at my salon? The three things that cut salon no-shows are a card on file, a deposit for new or high value bookings, and a reminder sequence, not one silver bullet.
How do I run a mini session booking day?Fixed slots published in advance, online booking so clients grab their own, and a deposit or full payment collected at booking.
How long should a shop keep signed consent forms?Retention rules for consent and release forms vary by state, so confirm the minimum with your state board before setting a policy.

How much deposit should I charge for a photo session? Most photographers charge a deposit somewhere between 20 and 50 percent of the session price, collected at booking and applied to the final invoice.
How much deposit should I charge for a tattoo, and is it refundable? Most shops charge a flat deposit, often 50 to 150 dollars for smaller work and more for custom pieces, and keep it on a no-show or late cancel.
Is a booking app worth it for a one-chair shop?A booking app pays for itself for a one-chair shop mainly by cutting the phone tag and no-shows that eat into a single barber's limited hours.
Is my client list mine if I leave?Your client list should belong to you regardless of which software you use, and you should be able to export it in full if you ever decide to leave.
