Use a PDF you already have

Open Menu, then DOCS & PROPOSALS, then Documents. Alongside building a template from scratch there is a PDF option, described on screen as "Add your own PDF, a contract you already have. No retyping."

Use this when you already have paperwork you are happy with, or something a lawyer wrote that you do not want to retype.

One difference worth knowing. A PDF template carries the document as an uploaded file rather than as text in the app, so the in-app text preview is empty for it. Use Preview PDF to check it instead, which opens the real file.
