The queue and the dashboard.

Every chair, every wait, and every dollar on one screen. Beacon Barbers runs walk-ins and booked clients side by side, and this page walks through how.

The Beacon Barbers dashboard: today's chairs, the walk-in queue and the week's money.
Demo · Beacon Barbers, Dayton OH · the dashboard

The line, and who is actually in it.

A real walk-in queue that reads the room instead of a whiteboard: who is waiting, which chair they want, and how long it will actually be.

  • Who is waiting, and for which chair. Add a walk-in in two taps from the front desk. Next available, or a barber by name.
  • A wait time you can stand behind. The estimate comes off real service times, chair by chair, not a number taped to the mirror.
  • One screen at the door. The front desk view is built for the person checking people in: add the walk-in, seat them, and the wait recalculates on its own.
  • Walk-ins and booked clients, one day. Both land in the same queue and the same book, and neither one gets double-sat.

Every chair, one book.

The book holds every chair for the day, booked clients and walk-ins together, with a status you can trust at a glance.

  • Chair by chair, side by side. See what every barber has booked for the day without flipping between screens.
  • Deposits when you want them. Hold the slot with a card so a no-show costs them something instead of costing the chair.
  • Reschedules that do not break anything. Move a client without leaving a hole nobody notices until it is empty.
  • It cannot double-book a chair. Two clients cannot land in the same chair at the same time; the database refuses it, rather than a warning nobody reads.

Checkout, tips, and which chair earns.

Every ticket carries its tip, and utilization per chair turns the quiet chair from a feeling into a number you can fix.

  • Checkout with tips on every ticket. Card, tap or cash, and the tip rides along with the sale instead of living in a jar.
  • Chair hours, barber by barber. Booked hours against open hours over the last seven days. Booked hours come from completed appointments; walk-in chair time is not counted yet, and the screen says so.
  • The week's money, at a glance. Take, tips and card volume together, not spread across three tabs.
  • Instant payout when you want it. Standard payouts are free; same-day money costs 1.5% and only when you ask.

Booth rent, without the group text.

Who has paid and who is due, per barber, tracked automatically instead of chased by hand.

  • Rent due, rent paid. Every barber's status in one list, so nobody has to ask twice.
  • Renters get their own login. Their own book and their own chair, inside the same shop.
  • Team is flat to nine chairs. $89 covers the whole shop rather than charging per seat.

Their whole history, one record.

Guard numbers, the fade they like, the beard, the part, the lineup notes. Nobody has to ask twice, and the shop remembers even when the barber who took the note is off.

  • Cut notes that actually help. Guard number, fade type, beard length, part and lineup notes, on the record.
  • Win-backs. Clients who have drifted get a nudge from their record before they find a new shop.
  • At-risk clients, flagged. See who has not been in for a while before they are gone for good.
  • History across every barber. A client's notes travel with them even if they usually sit in a different chair.

Shop supply, tracked.

Clippers, blades, guards, product. Know what is on the shelf before you are out mid-cut.

  • Low stock, flagged. Before it becomes a problem in the middle of a Saturday.
  • One list for the whole shop. Not a sticky note by the register.

The questions we get

Straight answers, before you have to ask.

Is the wait estimate actually accurate?
It comes off your shop's real service times and who is actually in a chair right now, not a flat guess. It is arithmetic you can explain to a client, not a prediction.
Does checkout need separate card reader hardware?
Checkout runs from the phone or tablet already at the chair, card on file, a tap, or a link. No separate terminal to buy or manage.
How does booth rent actually work?
You set what each renter owes and how often. The dashboard tracks who has paid and who is due so you are not chasing anyone in a group chat, and renters get their own login and book.
Is there a limit on chairs?
Team covers up to nine chairs flat at $89 a month. Ten chairs and up moves to Team Plus at $149, still flat, not per seat.

Run the whole shop from one screen.

$29 a month, billed annually. Everything above included.
