Turbo Link gives booth renters a client book, a booking link, and a website page that belong to them, not the salon, plus booth rent tracked in one place, for $29 a month, billed annually.

What a generic booking tool gets wrong for booth renters

Most salon software is built around the salon owning the client. A booth renter is not an employee. The tool needs to draw a line between “my book” and “the salon’s book,” and most platforms do not bother.

  • Client ownership. A lot of shared salon software puts every client into one shop-wide list. If you are renting a chair, that is your business walking out the door if you ever move shops. Turbo Link keeps your client book under your account.
  • Rent, not payroll. You are not on the salon’s payroll. You owe rent, on whatever schedule you and the salon agreed to. A tool built for commission splits does not track that correctly. Turbo Link tracks booth rent as its own thing.
  • Your own front door. Clients should be able to book you directly, without hunting through a salon-wide calendar for the right name. A private booking link and a page with your own services and prices solves that.

What is included

  • A private client book: visit history, notes, and formulas that stay tied to your account
  • Your own online booking link, plus a page on your website with your services and prices
  • Booth rent tracking, so you and the salon can both see what is due and what is paid
  • Deposits and card on file so a no-show does not cost you a chair rental for nothing
  • Automatic appointment reminders by text
  • A phone app to manage your book from the chair or on the go

Price

Solo is $29 a month, billed annually, or $35 a month if you pay month to month. That covers your website page, booking, client book, and booth rent tracking. Card processing runs 2.9% plus 15 cents per transaction on top. There is no free tier. Full pricing is on the pricing page.

Payouts and revenue splits between accounts only exist on Team plans, built for a salon paying multiple people from one account. As a booth renter on Solo, you track what you owe in rent, you do not receive an automated payout through the app.

Questions people ask

Can my clients see other stylists in the salon?

No. Your client book is private to you. The salon owner can see that you are renting a chair and can track your rent, but your client list, notes, and history stay yours.

Do I need the salon to sign up too?

No. You can run your own Solo account for $29 a month, billed annually, with your own booking link and your own page on the salon's site if the salon uses Turbo Link, or a page of your own if they do not.

Does Turbo Link handle payouts between me and the salon?

Booth rent tracking is included on Solo so you and the salon both see what is owed and paid. Automated payouts and revenue splits between accounts are a Team plan feature, not part of Solo.

What happens to my client list if I switch salons?

It goes with you. You can export your client data any time, and if you are already renting on Turbo Link the client book does not belong to the salon, it belongs to your account.
