Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Turbo Link, the booking, client management, and payments platform for independent beauty, tattoo, and photography professionals, including the Turbo Link website, mobile application, and public booking pages (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Turbo Link Studio ("Turbo Link," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Turbo Link gives independent professionals a calendar, client book, invoicing and payment tools, contracts and intake forms, a public booking page, and, for photography, delivery galleries and a print store. Some features are available on a free plan; others require a paid subscription. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and a feature described here or elsewhere is not a guarantee it will remain available indefinitely.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately at chris@cjohio.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Harass, threaten, or defraud your clients or any other person through the Service;
• Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Attempt to access another professional's account or data without authorization, or circumvent any security or access control;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email or text messages, or in a way that violates CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or similar consent-based messaging laws.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as shown at checkout) until canceled. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change subscription pricing going forward, with notice before it applies to you.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number. If you purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play instead of directly through Turbo Link, that purchase is additionally governed by Apple's or Google's own terms and billing/refund policies, and those platforms, not Turbo Link, process and hold that payment.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means the client records, photos, documents, forms, and other material you or your clients upload to the Service. You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant Turbo Link a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you. You are responsible for having the rights and, where applicable, the consents needed to upload client information and photos, and for how you use the Service to communicate with your own clients. Turbo Link does not claim ownership of Your Content, and you can export it at any time.

6. Third-Party Services and Text Messaging

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Telnyx (text message delivery). Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of those providers where you interact with them directly (for example, entering a card number with Stripe).

Text messaging program. When you give your mobile number on a booking page, the business you are booking with may send you text messages about that appointment through Turbo Link: a booking confirmation, a reminder before the appointment, and a notice if an earlier opening becomes available. Every message names the business it is sent on behalf of. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies and depends on your own appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Replying STOP stops messages from that sending number. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share or sell your mobile number or your messaging consent to third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

Turbo Link and its logos are trademarks of Turbo Link Studio. The Service's software, design, and underlying technology are owned by Turbo Link Studio and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you, beyond the limited right to use the Service as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Document and contract templates made available through the Service are provided for convenience only, are not legal advice, and should be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction before use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turbo Link Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will make a reasonable effort to let you export Your Content beforehand or within a reasonable window after.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice, such as an in-app notice or an email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
